The Internet often forgets it, but OnlyFans is not only a site where content creators can share charming photos and personalized videos. A platform where Minecraft gameplays accompany fitness videos. In a sense, OnlyFans is much closer to YouTube than you might think, especially when you consider the controversial videos that still abound on Google’s platform. And recently, mathematics courses have also been available.

A little over a month ago, Zara Dar, an engineer by training, decided to abandon her doctoral studies to launch herself on OnlyFans. Charming content, as there is already plenty on the platform often targeted by controversies. Despite everything, Dar stands out from the crowd because she creates somewhat unusual videos: explanations of mathematical concepts. Neural network, pi, derivative, convex function, videos which are published on YouTube, but also on Pornhub.
On LinkedIn, Dar explained his reasoning behind this original choice. But as she reveals, the same video, published on both YouTube and Pornhub, will not earn her the same amount. On YouTube, she earns 340 dollars per million views, while 1000 dollars per million views are earned on Pornhub. Obviously, the views are more consistent on YouTube. Both on YouTube and Pornhub, her most popular video is the same. Obviously, integrals are of particular interest to Internet users.
1.2 million views on YouTube for 538,000 views on Pornhub, enough to give an idea of the amounts earned. In an interview with 404 Media, Dar explains that he doesn’t really know why his videos perform so well on Pornhub:
“This could be because my SFW videos stand out from the typical NSFW content on the platform. This contrast might make them more intriguing or refreshing to viewers. But this is just a hypothesise.” she estimates.
Post the same content on different platforms, a strategy that has already proven itself. Many content creators offer the same content on their different networks. On the streaming side, it is now not uncommon to come across a streamer broadcasting their content at the same time on Twitch and Tik Tok, or even YouTube.
