An expert explained why this is bad

Many people keep milk in compartments in the fridge door, but one of the manufacturers of these devices has revealed why this is the worst place for it.

Almost everyone puts milk in the fridge door, but an expert has revealed why this could be a bad idea. Milk bottles of all shapes and sizes fit perfectly into the compartments in the refrigerator door, and there is an understandable fear of leakage if the milk is placed on one of the shelves.

However, it turns out that this is actually the wrong way, and the door should be used to store spices instead of milk. The reason for this is temperature fluctuations, which can cause the milk to spoil more quickly.

Beko recommends storing milk on the middle shelf, along with yogurt, cheese and eggs, because it provides a “nice, constant temperature.”
