Ukraine attacked drones in Russia’s Kaluga region, an oil warehouse was on fire on video

Ljudinovo (Russia) – A Ukrainian drone strike caused a fire in Russia’s Kaluga region late this evening. This was reported by the Reuters agency. The governor of this region south of Moscow, Vladislav Šapša, said on the Telegram platform that an industrial complex in the city of Ljudinovo, which is located about 170 kilometers from the Ukrainian border, was hit. According to videos on social networks, an oil warehouse was on fire.

A video posted on unofficial Russian social media accounts showed fire engines driving towards a large fire that broke out at an oil storage facility in the city, according to Reuters.

Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that air defense units shot down Ukrainian drones over the neighboring Bryansk region, which borders Ukraine, over the course of 35 minutes.

The Ukrainian military said on Thursday that at least three drones had struck a Russian oil depot in the southern Voronezh region.

Ukraine faced airstrikes by 50 Russian drones overnight, Russian troops also fired two Iskander-M missiles. Ukraine’s air defenses shot down 33 drones over 11 areas, another nine crashed and one flew in the direction of Romania, the Ukrainian Air Force said.
