The requirements for the habitability of the 1977where, in addition to the surface limits, it was also foreseen a minimum height which is now set below 2.70 metres up to the maximum limit of 2.40 metres.

The first rule is to build custom made furniture. First we identify the main uses of the space depending on who will live there. Then we try to fit everything in without any unused spaces. Often many ideas come from projects of hotel rooms where over the years many functions have been imagined for small spaces. At the same time, in addition to the layouts of the different areas of the ‘house’, there are disappearing furniture which make a possible function different of the space, passing, for example, from the living area to the sleeping area.

This type of solutions brings us back to that pop culture reference which is the very famous scene of the The Country Boy in which Renato Pozzetto is confronted with a micro-locale symbol of a certain modernity of the city. The film is from 1984 and probably that amused criticism of small sizes had a connection with the previous regulation of 1977.
