AMD motherboard powered by an external power supply with the ASRock trademark

The compact model, which can also be placed under the 9000 series Ryzens, was mostly intended for office tasks or HTPCs.

ASRock did not make a big deal about the completion of its latest motherboard based on the AMD X600 chipset, even though it is currently the only Thin Mini-ITX solution that accepts Socket AM5 processors, up to and including 65 Watt TDP.

At 17 x 17 cm, As X600TM-ITX the 4+1+1 phase VRM of the listed board has no ribs, and two SO-DIMM DDR5 sockets can accommodate up to 96 GB of overclocked notebook memory with an effective clock signal of 6400 MHz. We do not have PCI Express rails, but in addition to the two SATA ports, there are two PCI Express 4.0 M.2 slots (one M.2 2280, plus one M.2 2260/2280) on the printed circuit board. The design, which ends in a double 3.5 mm jack and is equipped with a Realtek ALC269 audio codec, is powered by a Realtek RTL8111H controller, comes with gigabit Ethernet, but can also be optionally ordered with an RTL8111FP controller.

Wireless network connection is possible with a separately purchased Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module, which can be placed in the empty M.2 2230 Key E socket, while our displays can be connected to one or two 1.4, DSC DisplayPort, one or two HDMI 2.1 outputs , can be connected to an LVDS socket, and even the 15-pin D-Sub appears among the alternatives.

The reason for this is that the manufacturer offers a total of eight choices regarding the contents of the I/O shield, but the range also includes USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A and USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A interfaces. Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A and two USB 2.0 connectors can be connected to the front panel, and the product with an unknown price is powered by an external adapter – as already mentioned in the title of our news.
