Information leaked to the public from several different sources makes the Galaxy S24 FE look very likely, but the release is scheduled for the end of the year.
Samsung has also used to release slightly more affordable FE or Fan Edition models of its Galaxy flagship smartphones, such as last year’s S23 FE, which was also in a quick test at io-tech in the spring. Now pictures and technical information about the next FE model, i.e. the S24 FE, have been leaked during the summer.
Last month, the Giznext website reported on renderings showing the S24 FE, based on which the novelty would strongly resemble the previous S23 FE. The physical size of the device is also largely the same as its predecessor, as the external dimensions are said to be 162.1 mm × 77.4 mm × 8.1 mm. In terms of technical features, the phone is expected to have a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen, a 50-megapixel main camera and Samsung’s own Exynos 2400 chipsetalthough also Snapdragon 8 Gen 3:lla equipped model is expected to arrive, for example, on the US market. The phone is said to have a maximum of 12 and 256 gigabytes of RAM and storage space, and a battery capacity of 4500 milliampere hours.
Additional impetus for the S24 FE rumors was received recently when photos of the phone’s aluminum prototype, apparently intended for the production of protective covers, were leaked to the public. In addition, black, gray, light blue, light green and yellow have been reported as the phone’s color options.
Samsung has not officially revealed any information about the Galaxy S24 FE model yet, but its release is expected to be around the end of the year and it is expected to have the same Galaxy AI artificial intelligence features as the S24 model from the beginning of the year.
