In the Leningrad Region, traffic police had to organize a chase with shooting to catch the driver of a VAZ-2109 who was trying to escape from them. The reckless driver turned out to be a 15-year-old teenager.
It all happened in the village of Melnikovo in the Priozersk district, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for St. Petersburg reported. Near house No. 2 on Lenin Street, traffic police officers wanted to stop a VAZ car for inspection, the driver of which in response increased speed and tried to escape. During the chase, the police fired several shots, including at the wheels of the offender’s car. As a result, the reckless driver was stopped and detained.
Administrative reports were drawn up against the speeding enthusiast, after which the boy was handed over to his father, who was held accountable for improper performance of parental responsibilities.
