A 17-year-old boy shot in the head during a fight in the town center of Rumilly

The town of Rumilly is in shock. Sunday, around 4:30 p.m., a shooting left one dead in the center of this town in Haute-Savoie.

According to information from Dauphiné Libéréa general fight broke out between young residents of Rumilly and a group of young people from Teppes, a district of Annecy.

A victim in absolute emergency

During the violence, a weapon was allegedly pulled out. A resident of Rumilly, Nabil, was then killed by a gunshot to the head. According to the regional daily, he was 17 years old.

A friend of the victim, Zyed, was also shot in the chest during the fight. Aged 18, he was transported by helicopter to the Annecy Genevois hospital center. His vital prognosis is still in jeopardy.
