Neighbors in the block in Vienna’s Favoriten district cannot believe that a 29-year-old woman could kill her four-year-old son.
“It’s impossible, an unfortunate accident must have happened,” one of the residents, who knows the 29-year-old, who is originally from Turkey, told Kronen Zeitung, describing her as “loving mother”. But the police think otherwise for now. On Sunday morning, a 29-year-old woman, who works as a teacher’s assistant, allegedly stabbed her four-year-old son with a knife. After this horrible act, she allegedly tried to commit suicide. When the police arrived, neighbors saw the distraught husband of the 29-year-old suspect sitting on the stairs with bloodied hands and repeating that he did not know how he would be able to live after what had happened.
The police investigation continues.
