A new high-speed magnetic wireless charger has been revealed by OnePlus and its name is OnePlus Magnetic Turbine. It features a clean white design with a red accent in its center and supports wireless charging AirVOOC up to 50W.
This high-performance charger is equipped with a built-in fan to manage heat during use. Li Jie, president of OnePlus China, describes it as offering the highest power in magnetic charging while addressing many and varied thermal issues. It incorporates an integrated cooling system with a centrifugal fan core, TEC cooling, heat dissipation fins, silicone pad and aluminum foil for efficient heat management.
The launch follows Oppo’s announcement of its magnetic charger and additional accessories, which are set to launch with the Find X8 series in China on October 24. OnePlus is also gearing up for the launch of the OnePlus 13, making the debut of this magnetic charger timely. The OnePlus 13 is expected to support 50W wireless charging, making full use of the charger’s capabilities.
This year we know that both Oppo and OnePlus are putting a lot of emphasis on magnetic charging technology, with more releases expected soon. Interestingly, these magnetic chargers will not be exclusive to Oppo and OnePlus devices, but will also work with iPhones.
The new OnePlus 13 is likely to launch on October 31st in China, marking it as one of the first smartphones to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It will be available in three color options: White Dawn with Silk Glass, Blue Moment with BabySkin texture and Obsidian Secret with Ebony Wood Grain Glass. The device will have a micro-quad screen and a circular camera unit with three lenses, an LED flash and the logo Hasselblad “H”.
