On the outskirts of Stuttgart, Germany, a 61-year-old man shot dead his landlord’s son and then judged himself for having to move out of his apartment. A 32-year-old woman was also seriously injured in the incident, who otherwise saved her life by jumping out of the window.

Shortly after 7:00 a.m. today, shots rang out from a house on Am Kronenhof Street in Esslingen am Neckar, smoke was billowing from the building, and people were screaming. She saved her life by jumping out of the window and was taken by rescue helicopter to a hospital in Stuttgart, about 10 kilometers away.

The 76-year-old owner took refuge on the balcony from the shooter, where rescuers found him slightly injured. “He’s going to kill us all!” he shouted desperately.
