The fire broke out on Wednesday in the Viștea Mare area of the Ucea commune in Brașov. The flames spread quickly and covered an area of approximately 5,000 square meters.
Initially, three fire trucks and more than 40 employees of ISU Brașov were sent to the scene. Firefighters walked and carried water in special backpacks, equipped with a spray system.
That’s why three offroad vehicles were also sent on the mission. They ensure water transport.
Also, the Black Hawk helicopter was sent to the area with the Bambybucket, a high-capacity suspended tank used for aerial forest firefighting.
