The driver of a car drove into the terrace of a cafe in the east of Paris at around 19:30 tonight, where three people were injured, reported the Agence France-Presse, citing police sources.
The injured are in a serious condition, the same sources added.
The French newspaper Parisien reported that there were three more people who were slightly injured.
The driver ran away, but the passenger was arrested, France Press reported, adding that the passenger tested positive for alcohol and narcotics.
The incident took place in the district where the famous Per LaĊĦez cemetery is located.
