New managers understand the importance of environmental impacts and social responsibility and consider it self-evident, therefore the change of generations in management would have a good effect on sustainability, it was said in the program “Management Audit”.
Responsible business has become a burningly important topic. It is the focus of attention of both consumers and companies, determines the credibility and long-term success of the company.
Rimi, chosen as the most sustainable brand in Estonia, is one of those companies that actively contributes to responsible business activities. In the “Management Audit” show, we talk with Katrin Bats, head of Rimi’s responsible business, about the company’s sustainability journey and the challenges ahead.
Bats points out that one of the biggest challenges is reducing the environmental impact of the supply chain. “Our biggest challenge in the coming years is engaging suppliers and influencing consumers to make more sustainable choices.”
