A children’s medicine has been recalled due to quality problems

Pharmacies will replace the affected product.

A National Center for Public Health and Pharmacy is recalling a pediatric medicine used to treat respiratory tract infections due to quality problems.

The authority is recalling the product called BRONCHO-VAXOM powder oral solution for children (OGYI-T-10309/02), and pharmacies are obliged to replace the purchased products.

The recall concerns batch number 220132, which showed unsatisfactory results during a test.

The product is an immune booster for the respiratory system, the use of which is recommended from the age of 12 months to 12 years, to prevent repeated respiratory infections of bacterial origin.
