Former MMA fighter Lumumba Sayers was arrested over the weekend for murder. Foreign media reported that he was supposed to shoot the man to avenge the death of his son, who succumbed to gunshot wounds a year ago.

According to the Commerce City Police Department, the cold-blooded murder occurred around 5:00 p.m. Saturday during a birthday party.
The American should have shot his victim in the head. According to witnesses, the killer believed his victim was involved in a shootout in which his son was fatally shot.
“It was retaliation or revenge,” responded one of the witnesses.
According to other witnesses of the incident, the attacker shot his victim, who was supposed to be the father of the child celebrating his birthday, a total of three times.
Sayers is currently in the Adams County Jail, where he is behind bars and his bond has been posted in the amount of one million dollars.
The perpetrator is charged with first degree murder.
