A few inches from tragedy on the Arc de Triomphe

A few inches from tragedy on the Arc de Triomphe. On Friday evening, Dinamo had a great chance to get on the podium in the Super League, because it led 2-0 at home against FC Botoșani in the 11th round. But in the end the scoreboard recorded a draw and, unfortunately, there were moments of great nervousness both on the field and in the stands.

A super goal, lobbed over goalkeeper Pap, from long range, from Selmani and then the first success of Dennis Politic, back on the pitch after almost two months from injury, seemed to have sealed the victory for the dogs, but it mattered a lot the exit of the injured Kosovar striker and thus the offensive force of Zeljko Kopic’s team was greatly reduced.

Dinamo retreated and the Moldovans, after an incredible miss by Pănoiu, managed what no one believed, to score twice, the last from a penalty taken by goalkeeper Golubovic. He had a little left and was knocking the head off the shoulders of a player with whom he had jumped into an aerial duel.

The atmosphere heated up terribly, against the background of a very hesitant refereeing by Sorin Vădana, a referee with very few matches at the SuperLiga level. Dinamo unfoundedly complained about the non-awarding of some penalty kicks, the referee granted nine minutes of extra time, but 14 more were played, on this basis Opruț from the hosts was eliminated for a very hard foul.

Everything that happened created immense tension among Dinamo’s fans and only divine providence saved the assistant Cosmin Bojan from a serious injury, if not worse. He signaled offside, correctly, for a goal scored by Dinamo and next to him, a plastic chair torn from the stands landed, a few centimeters away, breaking into pieces.

If he had hit him, he would have ended up bleeding in the hospital at best, because there was a greater danger than that. The gendarmerie is in full investigation to find the irresponsible supporter and this incident has a huge chance of leading to the suspension of home games, matches without spectators, on at least two stages!
