A flop film that only got 5,269 viewers in Finland now costs almost 20 euros if you want to watch it at home

The rental and sales versions of the megalopolis film directed by Francis Ford Coppola and which flopped badly have been released digitally in Finland today.

Although Megalopolis has gathered only a handful of viewers in Finnish cinemas in a couple of months – 5,269, to be exact – and the slight interest in the film has faded soon after the premiere, the rental version costs, for example, 19 euros at SF Anytime, and the sales version as much as 25 euros.

Well, it’s not a fool who asks…

The price of Megalopolis will later drop to more reasonable numbers, and before long the film will also be available on a monthly paid streaming service. However, there is currently no information about the date.

Megalopolis importer Elke ry describes Francis Ford Coppola’s film as follows:

“Megalopolis is set in an imagined modern America. The metropolis of New Rome must change, leading to a conflict between Cesar Catilina, a genius architect who plans a utopian future, and Franklyn Cicero, the greedy mayor. Balancing between them is Julia Cicero, the mayor’s daughter, whose love for Cesar shares his loyalty. Starring Adam Driver, Giancarlo Esposito, Nathalie Emmanuel, Aubrey Plaza, Shia LaBeouf, Jon Voight, Laurence Fishburne, Talia Shire, Jason Schwartzman and Dustin Hoffman.”
