A freight train car derailed in St. Petersburg

In St. Petersburg, an investigation has begun into the fact that a freight car derailed on non-public tracks.

The incident occurred last Monday evening, November 25, at the St. Petersburg Sortirovochny – Moskovsky station, the press service of the North-Western Transport Prosecutor’s Office reported. The supervisory agency also published a photo from the scene of the incident, which captured a carriage of the train that had strayed from the general row.

According to preliminary data, no one was injured as a result of the incident. The reasons and all circumstances of the derailment of the car are currently being established. The prosecutor’s office noted that the station is operating normally.

According to 78.ru, fish were transported in the derailed carriage.

Let us recall that in mid-November, six carriages of a freight train derailed in the Leningrad region.
