The start of the event, which will be attended by more than 6,000 members of the Ministry of Defense and the Serbian Army with 2,500 weapons and equipment and more than 50 aircraft, is scheduled for 11 a.m., the Service for Cooperation with the Media of the President of the Republic announced.
The gates of the military airport will be opened at 9:30 a.m., and visitors will have the opportunity to tour the tactical-technical assembly of modern weapons and military equipment, as well as assets under development, until 3 p.m.
There will also be a presentation of assets developed by our defense industry, as well as modern weapons and military equipment of the Serbian Armed Forces, among which stand out the anti-armor missile system “Kornet”, self-propelled multi-barrel rocket launchers “Oganj”, self-propelled howitzers “Nora 155mm”, combat armored vehicles “lazar”, “MRAP”, “milos”, “hammer”, drones, helicopters Mi-35, X-145M, modernized aircraft “mig-29 SM”, anti-aircraft missile systems FK-3, XQ-17, “Pancir “, unmanned vehicles “little milos” and a wide range of modern optoelectronic devices and weapons and military equipment of special forces.
– I invite the citizens to come to the military airport in Batajnica and to see numerous modern weapons and military equipment, but also to convince themselves of the strength of their army, which is getting stronger and stronger for the benefit of all the citizens of our country – said Defense Minister Bratislav Gašić, who together with the Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Milan Mojsilović, attended the preparations for “Flag 2024”.
