An indictment against two people (a 36-year-old foreigner and a 41-year-old local) for possession, transport and trafficking of narcotics, was filed by the Narcotics Prosecution Department of the Rhodes Security Sub-Directorate.
In a targeted check on the perpetrators’ vehicle, with the assistance of the specially trained police drug detection dog, “ATHENA”, upon their arrival in Rhodes by liner from Piraeus, the following were found and confiscated:

· 467 grams of cocaine in improvised packaging, carefully hidden in a specially designed cache in the chassis of the vehicle,
· 10 kilograms and 561 grams of cannabis, divided into twenty packages, carefully hidden in a specially designed cache in the chassis of the vehicle,
· 4.5 grams of cocaine divided into four ready-to-use micropackages hidden in underwear worn by the 41-year-old
ADVERTISING SPACE
· 3 mobile phones,
· 220 euros,
· 3 ferry ticket stubs.
Those arrested will be brought to the Rhodes District Court today.
