The store’s interior was designed in collaboration with Oma, which contributed to the four-storey space with a total area of 332 square meters. However, the experience already starts on the street, where the neoclassical stone facade with a bas-relief frieze by sculptor Alexander Stoddart can be admired.
Inside, the contemporary vision continues in an open floor plan on the ground floor, where bags, leather goods and accessories are presented on cascading wall displays and curved walls. These shapes continue to the upper floors, which start with an entire section dedicated to men’s fashion, followed by women’s fashion one floor higher.
The top floor houses a private VIP lounge accessed via a separate entrance. The completely circular space is designed to create a cocoon-like effect.
Jacquemus aims to reference the brand’s birthplace, Provence, as seen in the use of materials such as textured white stucco, beige natural stone and iron racks and railings. The space has been further complemented with signature brand elements, such as a banana yellow hue and an array of artwork curated by founder Simon Porte Jacquemus.
