In the Leningrad region, a pedestrian was hit by cars three times and died from his injuries.

A terrible accident occurred last Friday, November 15, at 170 km of the Scandinavia highway in the Vyborg region, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region reported. First, an unidentified car, moving towards the village of Torfyanovka, hit a pedestrian who was trying to cross the roadway outside the pedestrian crossing zone.

After that, a Renault car driven by an 82-year-old pensioner and a Gazelle driven by a 33-year-old man ran over the fallen man.

As a result of multiple injuries, the pedestrian died at the scene of the accident. His identity is being established.

Earlier it was reported that a bus with a group of children got into an accident near St. Petersburg.
