We have already mentioned interesting or bizarre minicomputer concepts in articles a few times. The Chinese from Linglong presented a mini PC hidden in a folding keyboard. Useful? Or bizarre?
The Chinese company Linglong launched mini computer in the form of a folding keyboard. This compact computer is no slouch at all, the parameters include an AMD Ryzen 7 8840U processor with a Radeon 780M graphics chip, up to 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of M.2 NVMe storage. Unlike regular mini PCs, this model is equipped with a 60 Wh battery, which allows it to be used without external power.
Despite its small size, the PC from Linglong also offers extensive connectivity. It includes USB-A 3.0, USB-C 3.2 and USB-C 4.0 ports. According to the manufacturer, the battery is able to provide up to ten hours of operation during light office work and four hours during more intensive loads, such as playing games. When folded, you can easily hide this keyboard in the back pocket of your trousers, as it measures only 10×15 cm.
Linglong plans to beta test 200 units of this product, but the company has not yet announced global availability. The price in China is expected to be 3,000 yuan (CZK 9,500) for the 0.5 TB/16 GB version and 3,600 yuan (CZK 11,500) for the 1 TB/32 GB version.
