Sometimes miracles also happen in real life.
Netflix added yesterday Thursday to Amazon the film Los niños perdidos, which relives the incredible events of last year in Colombia in an hour and a half.
The documentary was directed by Oscar-winning Orlando von Einsiedel (The White Helmets, Virunga).
In 2023, a small plane made an emergency landing in the Colombian jungle. All the adults died in the accident, but four children survived. The youngest of them was only eleven months old, the oldest 13 years old. The four were searched in the dense jungle for no less than 40 days, until the story finally had a happy ending – well, at least considering the circumstances.
Children lost in the Amazon goes through the survival story of the children and the huge task of the searchers.
Orlando von Einsiedel’s documentary has not yet made it to Netflix’s TOP 10 most watched list, but it’s a wonder and wonder if it doesn’t happen over the weekend, as long as the word spreads.
