A near-tragedy at a train station in Britain. A video that is making the rounds on the internet captures the moment a stroller with a baby in it was almost swept away by a passing train.
The passengers were waiting
As can be seen in the video footage from a security camera at the station, there are people gathered on the platform waiting for the next train.
Indeed, as is evident in the video, within a few seconds the train appears in the shot, in order to stop and pick up the passengers.

Just before the train stops, a pram is seen slipping out of the hands of the mother holding it and slamming into the doors of the passing train.
The baby was slightly injured
The impact causes the cart to make a few sharp turns and then flip over.
According to the relevant report, the baby in the stroller suffered very minor head injuries, which were considered treatable.
However, according to eyewitnesses, if this had happened just a few seconds before then the trolley would have fallen onto the tracks and the train would have crushed it with tragic results.
