After a 23-year hiatus, a crossover/hip hop/hardcore group Sunshine released the long-awaited album „Vortex“ for the record company Multimedia Musicaccompanied by a music video for the song “Millions of billions” and announced the promotion of the CD as well as a big concert in Belgrade Youth Center.
“I want, first and foremost, to thank the Lord God, who protects me from my crazy head as well as from all possible external influences, as much from the physical as from the metaphysical world,” he says Bane Bojovićthe frontman of the group Sunshine, and adds that it took him five full years to finish the album “Vortex” as well as another year to find the right publisher for this release: “In the end, an agreement was made with the man who was our first manager, the man who deserves the most for us a breakthrough in the field through Serbia, Montenegro and Republika Srpska, M.Sc. Rodoljub Stojanović Rodja„.
The story of this album, says Bane, began with the producer Daliborusin home conditions, while Dark RH“a friend from the age of dinosaurs” inserted rhymes: “He left me a mountain of material to work on, where I could insert some of my own stamp, came up with choruses…”
The album contains 9 lyrical songs (one song was published in two versions) as well as two instrumentals. “On the album you can hear songs with dynamic rhythms, strong guitar riffs, pronounced basses with a combination of electronics in the form of coordinated, synthesizer-played melodies and selected sound colors, and some selected samples,” says Bane.
The main songwriters on the album are Kiza RH and Bane Bojović, and they sign the production Dalibor Minic, Ivan Petrović, Marco Benini i Luke Citadel. The master of the whole album was done Pop. They participated in the album as guests Funkless aka Lesa SMF na pesmi “Frka gori” i Koyot on the edited version of the song “Millions of Billions”.
“They are normally very good friends of mine in my private life. They don’t look at music through money and earnings, but through what is primordial inside them. Daliborus and Kiza RH are the same profile of people,” says Bane and adds that he was also helped on this album Rolled i Milica Stojičev who contributed with their voice and Nikodia with the keyboard on the songs “Aria-M” and “Frka gori”.
The album “Vortex” was accompanied by a video clip for the song “Millions of Billions”: “The song is the only one on the album done in two versions. The video was recorded for the original, but on the album there is also an edited version on which Coyote, an old member of the band, is a guest,” says Bane and adds: “I wouldn’t think too much about the message of the song, because the songs always speak for themselves!”
The album “Vortex” is available as a physical CD edition at all Multimedia Music outlets as well as online. The album will be available on digital platforms until the end of January.
The promotion of the CD will be held on Wednesday, January 15 at 6 pm at the Multimedia Music Record Store (Sremska 2). At the promotion, the album will be available at a promotional price, while fans who want to hear the band live will also have some surprises… The big concert promotion of this release is scheduled for February 14 in Sali Americana Belgrade Youth Center.
“I am grateful for the upbringing of my father, who put a chip in my corner that what has been started must be finished at any cost,” Bane concludes the story about the album: “There are always countless people who talk about writing books or recording albums, but that everyone would” dream” video ending, you have to endure all kinds of obstacles and stumbling blocks. Of course, there will be many more who will spit than praise, but that’s nothing new… My heart is full that I managed to release a new album after 22 years and I hope that this is just a new beginning of the second part of the game.
