There is a circular revolution in the beauty industry! And it happened in the Czech Republic! On October 10, 2018, a press conference was held in Prague, at which a new generation of cosmetic products, which represent a revolution in the field of cosmetics, was presented.
The products of the new generation of cosmetics correspond to the principles of the circular economy and prevent the creation of any waste that burdens the surface and underground water system, such as microplastics and micropollutants.
It is the world’s first cosmetic that completely biodegrades. And the Czech Republic can be proud of the fact that these cosmetics were developed and manufactured right here. The press conference was attended by, among others, American polymer expert and global opinion leader Dr. Yash P Khannawhich happened godfather this one new cosmetics without microplastics.
The perpetrator is the Institute of Circular Economy
The Institute of Circular Economy can be happy that innovations are moving forward. Before the summer, they introduced a new one to the public HYDAL biotechnology and now they have another notch on the stock of helping the environment and people. It states first productwhich saw the light of day thanks to this technology and does not burden the environment.
“We are getting our hands on a product whose basic idea is based on a closed flow of materials that, unlike competing products, are not a source of microplastics, which is one of the global problems of the 21st century. In addition, it was again shown how crucial interdisciplinary cooperation is for the launch of a sustainable business plan, which today has global potential thanks to its uniqueness. Czech companies have once again shown that circular approach it offers us a whole range of hitherto unimagined possibilities”he adds Soňa Jonášová, director of the Institute of Circular Economy.

Cosmetics were named Nafigate and its first product in the line is coconut nurturing peeling milk
with the hallmark of gentle cosmetics. Sympathetic packaging with an image of a turtle as a synonym for the cleanliness of the oceans and thus respect for the environment, has a volume of 250 ml.
