This idea is also sold to customers, and indeed everyone has such good intentions. However, when the end begins to appear, these plans are known to be diametrically opposed – the developer is cursed at the dinner table and the experience only brings bad memories to customers,” Kaarel Kiidron, the founder and managing partner of Livida, described the reality prevailing in the market.
“This is a reflection of the reality of what is happening in real estate. All beautiful thoughts and dreams are replaced by setbacks, red Excel fields and saving one’s own skin,” said Kiidron. “It is urgently being looked at in order to keep the project economically efficient and the customer’s perspective remains to-do always towards the back of the list. However, this makes it incredibly difficult to build trust in real estate developers, while pointing the finger of blame is pointless, because the sector as a whole is simply complex enough. However, the future homeowner at the end of the tunnel does not understand this. And he doesn’t have to, because actually it’s not his problem.”
