a new high performance kit

The German manufacturer presents a new high-performance kit for the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, which improves its aerodynamics, suspension and brakes.

This new “Manthey Kit” is aimed at owners of the current generation of Porsche 911 GT3 RS (type 992).

Over a ton of support!

The Manthey kit was developed for the Porsche 911 GT3 RS by the Porsche development center, in collaboration with the team’s engineers Manthey Racing. The objective is to improve the performance of the German sports coupe on the circuit, with a Solid Carbon Fiber Body Kit. In particular, we find a wider front blade, wheel arch flaps, a carbon panel in place of the rear window, and even a massive rear spoiler.

This carbon fiber wing is inspired by the Porsche 963 racing car, and has been designed to increase the car’s stability when cornering. The package is completed by a larger carbon fiber rear diffuser, which also helps improve the car’s aerodynamic performance. According to Porsche, at 285 km/h, the 911 GT3 RS equipped with the Manthey kit produces more than 1,000 kg of supportwhich allows higher passing speeds when cornering, while improving vehicle stability.

Porsche 911 GT3 RS Manthey Kit: a formidable look

To contribute to improving the performance of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS on the circuit, the semi-active springs have been adjusted to achieve higher downforce values, 30% at the front and 15% at the rear. THE shock absorbers have two separate valves for compression and rebound levels, and are independently controlled. This guarantees precise behavior in road driving situations, and maximizes stability on the track. Depending on the driving mode (Normal, Sport, Track), different sets of settings are available: in Track mode, the basic setting can also be adjusted manually according to the driver’s personal preferences, using the steering wheel controls.

The Manthey kit also provides improved braking system for the circuit, with steel-sheathed brake lines, as well as racing brake pads (optional) for cars equipped with the ceramic brake system. These pads have been specially developed for track use, and reduce sag while increasing responsiveness and control precision. They offer consistent performance over a wide temperature range and very good wear resistance. Also optional, several accessories are offered, such as illuminated Manthey carbon fiber door sills, LED door projectors, as well as stickers, not to mention a towing eye for driving on the racetrack.

For Porsche 911 GT3 RS owners interested in the Manthey Kit, it is already available to order in Porsche centers, and its installation does not modify the manufacturer’s warranty. The first deliveries are expected for January 2025 a Europe.
