a novelty that you won’t get tired of

A dress created by the collaboration of a fashion designer with the winner of the MasterChef Czech cooking competition – it sounds a little strange, doesn’t it? But this dress became a hit that sold out in an incredible 48 hours. And so the one-time collaboration suddenly turned into limited edition dress Upgraded KNPB and also formed a new friendship.

Pavel Berky and the cook

You are probably wondering what is behind this unusual success and how it all actually started with dresses inspired by gastronomy. “Kristína came to me with a request to create a custom-made non-traditional fashion piece, with which she could present herself as part of her tastings, lectures or presentations. She wanted her clothes to reflect her love of cooking and at the same time make her feel good outside of the kitchen. It was a big challenge for me, but I like you, so I went for it,” Pavel Berky describes the beginning of the collaboration. Kristina was subsequently so enthusiastic about the dress that she and the designer decided to put it on sale in a limited number of 20 pieces.

Comfortable, trendy and black

Kristina had quite clear requirements regarding the dress from the beginning. She required them to be comfortable, casual, and to reflect both current trends and elements of gastronomy, which is close to her. At the same time, they had to be wrinkle-free, and the color, the cook’s favorite black, was also clearly specified. “I needed a comfortable and practical dress that would match my great passion, cooking. I already knew Pavlov’s work, so I didn’t go completely into the unknown, but the result exceeded all my expectations. I am delighted with the dress and I immediately went to the first conference that was waiting for me in it.” Kristina smiles. Pavel Berky more than hit Kristina’s taste with his design, and the sporty, elegant dress with large pockets and a long belt thrilled her. This is also why we can look forward to another limited edition in the future Pavel Berky x Kristína Němčková!
