Many predict a truly brilliant career for him.
Red Star continues to invest in talent, and today in the premises of the club’s television, a contract with the club until 2027 was signed by a promising young goalkeeper – Savo Radanović.
The director had words of praise for the talented goalkeeper Youth schools – Nikola Jelic.
– Goalkeeper coach Supić and I have had excellent cooperation for several years. We went to Trebinje several times to bring Sav Radanović, who is an extremely talented goalkeeper. Savo is the type of goalkeeper who has not appeared in Crvena Zvezda in the last 20 years. Of course, there were talented guys who didn’t find a way to fight, but Savo understands what kind of club he is in and how much work is needed to get to the first team. He already made his debut in the Youth Champions League against Monaco, as well as Barcelona, and it was very successful. In addition, he records performances for the cadet national team of Serbia, where he defends a generation that is a year older. There were goalkeepers who were as talented as him, but they didn’t understand in the right way what Crvena zvezda is about. I am sure that Savo will understand that and that with dedicated and hard work he will reach the first team of Crvena zvezda, and later the national team of Serbia. – said Nikola Jelić.
Radanović pointed out that he is proud of his first professional contract with Red Star.
– The feeling is phenomenal, this is the realization of my boyhood dream, to sign a professional contract with the club that I have supported since childhood. I am very glad, thank the management for the trust. The contract is just an incentive to work even harder and harder. Interventions at the Youth Champions League matches mean a lot to me in terms of self-confidence, especially knowing that these are players who are future world football stars. My family and friends give me the greatest support, and the coaches I would like to point out are Dušan Gašić and Nemanja Supić, I learned a lot from them and it means a lot to me to work with them and the first team. – concluded Savo Radanović.
Savo Radanović was born in 2009 in Trebinje, and in the current part of the season he defended for the cadet selection, which he leads from the bench Aleksandar Linta. Due to the call of the standard keeper of the net of the youth team – Vuk Draškić, to play for the senior team, fifteen-year-old Radanović was reassigned to the team Nenada Milijaš before the match with Monaco in Monte Carlo. He got the opportunity on the big stage, in the Youth Champions League match, and he took full advantage of the opportunity and showed that he is a real pledge for the future of Red Star. He also stood in the goal of the youth team in the duel against Barcelona, and stood out with great defenses and was the youngest player on the field at only 15 years old.
