A 35-year-old man, wanted internationally on the basis of an extradition request from the American authorities, was spotted on Saturday in traffic in the 3rd District of the Capital.
At around 3:40 p.m., the police officers from the General Directorate of Police of the Municipality of Bucharest – Road Brigade detected a 35-year-old man in the radius of sector 3, wanted internationally based on an extradition request from the American authorities.
The Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Court of Appeal of Bucharest requested the national investigation as the American judicial authorities sent an extradition request on his behalf.
The man is being investigated for bank fraud, conspiracy to commit bank fraud and aggravated identity theft.
