Yesterday evening, a policeman on his way from work noticed two men in the center of Ljubljana who approached a woman on the street and stole her wallet.
A policeman intervened and arrested one of the perpetrators, while the other attacked him to help his accomplice escape. Despite this, the policeman managed to detain one of the suspects, while the other one fried her. But not very far.
Another off-duty police officer happened to be in the next street and heard something going on and immediately responded and apprehended the fleeing suspect.
Both suspects have been remanded in custody and will be brought before an investigating judge on suspicion of grand theft.
