A resident of St. Petersburg stole gold from friends

He took advantage of the fact that the company was interested in playing chess.

The prosecutor’s office of the Krasnogvardeisky district of St. Petersburg approved an indictment against a resident of the Northern capital in the case of the theft of jewelry totaling 200 thousand rubles. This was reported in the press service of the department.

According to law enforcement agencies, on May 20 and 21, 2024, the man was visiting his friends in a house on Otechestvennaya Street. While the friends decided to play chess, the attacker entered the master bedroom and stole eagle figurines, as well as other jewelry weighing 44.5 grams.

Moreover, the St. Petersburg resident managed to hand over the stolen goods to a pawnshop. However, the thief was still caught. The criminal case has been transferred to court.

Earlier in Moscow, a masseuse from Gatchina was robbed. The thief turned out to be his own client.
