A sequel to Alien: Isolation is in the works

Creative Director Al Hope on Monday, October 7 to mark the 10-year anniversary of the game’s release Alien: Isolation officially announced on behalf of the entire development team that its sequel is currently in early development. This is worth noting because, according to many (myself included), this is the best game adaptation to come out of the Alien world. No further information has been released yet, while the early development status means I wouldn’t expect a release until sometime in 2026.

In his announcement, he mentions that when Alien: Isolation began development, it was important to them to create a truly authentic experience that would match the early days of the film series. They wanted to create a new story that would capture the atmosphere of the original 1979 film.

Alien: Isolation can currently be purchased at Steam for €39.99 or in the collection with all DLCs for €49.20. IN Epic Games Store now it costs 1049 CZK. If you are interested, I recommend waiting for a more significant discount, given that it is already a 10-year-old title (e.g. Epic already gave it away for free).
