The border police arrested a citizen of Serbia DP (31) at the Dobrakovo crossing, acting on an international warrant issued by the Austrian Interpol, the Police Directorate announced.
“He is wanted on the basis of an arrest warrant issued by the Regional Court for Criminal Cases in Vienna, for the purpose of conducting criminal proceedings, on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of aggravated burglary in connection with a criminal association, illegal appropriation (embezzlement) of the Criminal Code of Austria for for which a prison sentence of up to 10 years is prescribed,” the announcement states.
The DP was brought before the competent judge for investigation.
