Bratislava police officers helped on the Danube embankment, where one of the ships anchored there began to sink.
“We received the notification on line 158 shortly before 10:00 a.m., while police officers together with members of the Fire and Rescue Service as well as members of the PZ Riverside Department are performing the necessary actions on the spot,” the police said.
According to the police, there are no people on the boat.
The Fire and Rescue Service reported that the ship is sinking on the General Ludvík Svoboda Embankment in the capital. The anchored ship began to sink due to a leak in the bilge.
“15 professional firefighters from HS Radlinského with 6 pieces of firefighting equipment, including the first fire engine TARGA 35 FIRE BRIGADE, are on the scene,” the firefighters reported on the social network.
