A single mother with three children FINALLY got her own home!

The purchase of rural houses with a garden with the support of the Ministry for the Care of the Village reached the figure of 3015 houses, that is, 3015 families who managed to get a roof over their heads in this way.

Minister Milan Krkobabic did not hide his satisfaction at reaching this impressive figure. He pointed out that the 3000th house is located in the municipality of Žabari, and a four-member family got their new home in it.

The purchase of the three thousandth house went to Tanja Paunović, a single mother of three children, who found her roof over her head in the village of Simićevo near Žabar. The minister personally congratulated the owner of the new home, who was touched by this gesture and said that she was extremely honored to be at this event. She congratulated all the wonderful people for initiating and implementing this project, which provided thousands of people throughout Serbia with a roof over their heads.

Tanja is a healthcare worker, and she mentioned that having health is the most important thing in the world. However, having both health and a house is the greatest happiness. After 10 years of living as a tenant, Tanja pointed out that she is now extremely happy that her family has their own home.

The signing of the contract was also attended by Milan Prostran, the deputy president of the House Allocation Commission. He pointed out that it is a great pleasure to be part of this commission, and it is only increased by the fact that it is being demanded more and more.

In this way, the state enables people to stay in the countryside, but also for people from the cities to find their new life in the countryside, which will surely change the demographic picture of Serbia in the future.

New neighbors have arrived in 50 local governments across Serbia. The maximum amount allocated for the purchase of a country house with a garden is 1,200,000 dinars, but there are still houses for much smaller amounts, so this time the cheapest house in the village of Torda near Žitište was less than half a million dinars.

Since the beginning of this year, new tenants have moved into 365 houses. More than 12,000 people, who are on average younger than 30 years old, have gained a roof over their heads, and a third of them go from the city to the village.
