A six-person parliamentary delegation is traveling to Moscow from Bratislava, the aim of which is to restore relations

The six-person delegation plans to visit Moscow in January, its members were composed of two of the three parties of the Slovak government coalition. The delegation is led by Andrej Danko, head of SNS,

the purpose of the trip is to renew communication between the two countries.

Danko wants to live in Moscow to meet with the leader of the Russian parliament, Vyacheslav Volodin, the speaker of the upper house of the parliament, Valentina Matviyenko, and members of the Russian government.

The party leader also emphasized that he is gathering information to “open the eyes” of Slovaks.

Danko also stated that he is treating the trip as a continuation of the dialogue initiated by Prime Minister Robert Fico in Moscow.
