A step from the USA that worries Russia! Missile defense base officially became operational

Aegeis Ashore Missile Defense Base, which is a part of the US missile defense system built near the village of Redzikowo in northern Poland, became operational with a ceremony held today. The missile defense base, which aims to protect the USA and its European allies against missile threats from the Middle East, especially Iran, has 3 MK41 vertical launch systems, each with 8 SM-3 IIA interceptor missiles, and 1 SPY-1D ballistic missile early warning. It was reported that it was equipped with radar.

Russia takes precautions against US moves in Poland

“THE WORLD WILL SEE THAT THIS IS NO LONGER RUSSIA’S AREA OF INFLUENCE”

It was stated that the base, which houses missiles with a range of 1,000 to 3,000 kilometers, is also an important element of the NATO defense system. Speaking at the opening of the base, Polish President Andrzej Duda expressed his satisfaction with the opening of the Aegeis Ashore Missile Defense Base, which will protect the security of the world like the US army. “Now the whole world will see clearly that this is no longer Russia’s sphere of influence,” Duda said, adding that nearly 10 thousand US soldiers are currently serving in Poland and that the US is the guarantor of the security of Poland and the entire NATO.

HE WILL DEFEND POLAND AGAINST THE RUSSIAN THREAT

While it is stated that nearly 500 US soldiers will serve at the Aegeis Ashore Missile Defense Base, the Polish government expects the base to defend Poland against threats that may come from Russia in the future.
