Golf lovers, the resources for this sport are now available through the new update to Huawei Health.
For many, golf is more than a sport, it is a test of precision, patience and strategy. Excelling on the fairway requires not only skill and practice, but also excellent adaptability.
With this in mind, Huawei launched the Huawei Watch GT 5 Pro, a smartwatch with dedicated features that make each user a true professional golfer. These features are now available in Portugal, through a new update to Huawei Health.
Through Golf Course mode, users have access to more than 15,000 golf courses around the world, and around 200 in Portugal, and can view maps with a 3D effect, for a panoramic view of obstacles and the environment.
Simply search for the course name or region in Huawei Health to preview fairways, download maps and browse them, both in the app and on your smartwatch.
Thanks to the high-precision Huawei Sunflower positioning system, the smartwatch offers real-time distance measurements and displays the user's current location on the green, as well as obstacles, on the golf course map.
This helps you select the right clubs and plan your next shots. Furthermore, the user can choose any point on the map to check how far away it is, ensuring that they always have all the information at their fingertips.
In turn, the Environmental Information Panel provides real-time data, such as the direction and slope of the green, and the speed and direction of the wind. Using the Heat Map, it indicates slopes on the green, to make it easier for golf lovers to understand and react to the nuances of the terrain and to define more precise shots and putts.
This update also introduces data sharing and analysis features such as Scorecard, offering golfers a more comprehensive and enjoyable experience with their Huawei Watch GT 5 Pro.
Users can record their putts on the Scorecard and, after finishing a nine-hole half round, can access a score report to track their progress throughout the match. At the end of the game, the Scorecard presents a complete report to analyze performance.
With this top-of-the-line smartwatch, golf enthusiasts have at their disposal a powerful technological caddy to shine on the fairway.
The Huawei Watch GT 5 Pro caters to all tastes
In addition to golf features, the smartwatch stands out for its compatibility with Android and iOS, autonomy of up to two weeks on 46mm models and up to one week on 42mm models, as well as comprehensive monitoring of health and well-being parameters.
Regarding the design and construction of the smartwatches, Huawei opted for a sophisticated look and premium materials.
The 46 mm and 42 mm models are produced with aerospace quality titanium and nanocrystalline ceramics, respectively, both materials developed through complex engineering processes, for greater durability and resistance.
