A tragedy happened in the Czech Republic during the weekend. On the second day of the international car race up the Albrechtický hill near Lanškroun, the competitor Ondřej Chytil died.
As the daily Blesk reports, the tragic accident happened on Sunday before 2 p.m.
Chhytil could not handle the high speed on the closed track and crashed into a tree with the racing special. He died of his injuries on the spot, he was 32 years old.
According to Blesk, the native of Brno was still enjoying winning the silver medal on Saturday. “Unfortunately, it was his last joy,” his friend wrote on the social network.
Chytil was one of the best Czech formula drivers, he achieved his greatest success in the national championships.
