Shortly before joining the SUV trend and unveiling its first high-wheeled car in 2020, however, thanks to the collaboration with Zagatothe company revealed to the world the Vanquish Shooting Brakeknown by all as one of the rarest cars ever produced by the Brand. Recently one of the specimens popped up for sale on the RM Sotheby’s website and so let’s find out all the details.

One of the rarest ever

The Aston Martin Vanquish Shooting Brake in question is number 13 from the 99 produced and, as mentioned, will go to auction next month in Dubai. RM Sotheby’s indicates an estimated price between 450,000 and 550,000 dollars, or approximately between 430,000 euros and 530,000 euros at the current exchange rate.

To better understand the history of this car, it is one of four shooting brake on a Vanquish base designed by the Italian coachbuilder under whose hood the iconic one finds its place V12 5.9 liter aspirated engine from the company, capable of delivering approx 600 CVcombined with the eight-speed Touchtronic gearbox with paddles on the steering wheel.

A long realization

To bring this iconic Shooting Brake to life, Zagato has lengthened the Vanquish’s cabin, radically redesigning the look of the rear with slim LED lights inspired by the Vulcan and finished in Lava Red. Inside, the coachbuilder then added gold accents and black and red trim to the cabin, including the steering wheel, switches and air vents.

This car has only had one owner, lived as part of a collection in Seoul, South Korea, and was also used. The owner has driven 3,067 miles, which is just under 5.000 kmmore than you might expect for such a rare and beautiful supercar. It could be an excellent addition to the Zagato collection already on sale by the company itself, which we talked about a few weeks ago.
