Volkswagen does not yet offer an ID in its range. Buzz arranged: never mind, the Dutch company Ventje has imagined the eVentje, a converted van which allows electric vehicle enthusiasts to go on an outdoor adventure, carrying up to four people, while maintaining a vehicle that can be used on a daily basis with its length of 4.7 meters. The model recently received the 2024 Red Dot International Design Award in the “Product Design” category.
The eVentje van offers a comfortable interior, with a living space at the rear allowing the bench seat to be transformed into a double bed measuring 2.00 meters by 1.40 metersmade possible by sliding the front seats towards the front of the cabin. Above this, we find a lifting roof innovative, which provides more space for standing up, but also includes a double bed, a canvas that can be fully opened thanks to a zipper, as well as a skylight offering a breathtaking view of nature and the starry sky.
eVentje: 375 kilometers of autonomy
The kitchen block is located at the rear: it is possible to use it from the outside, by opening the tailgate, but also from the inside because the drawers, the refrigerator, the induction hob and the sink are accessible on both sides. Ideal for cooking regardless of weather conditions. To complete this equipment, there is a bar table which can be unfolded on the side of the motorhome, as well as two chairs and a large table to form a lounge which can be used outdoors. On board, you will also find numerous storage spaces and sockets (3 230 V sockets and 7 USB type C sockets), which allow you to power all your electrical equipment, as well as a compact toilet.
Technically, the eVentje has the 100% electric motor of 204 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque of the ID. Buzz, coupled with a battery of 77 kWh which allows it to offer approximately 375 kilometers of autonomy. The model is compatible with fast charging with a power of 170 kW, allowing it to recover from 5 to 80% capacity in 30 minutes on a direct current charging station.
