A warm dish on a spoon that few can resist

Homemade chicken soup always pleases the stomach, before every main meal.

Ingredients:

  • 3 medium chicken drumsticks (2 without skin and bones, 1 with skin)
  • 950 ml of water
  • 1 medium onion, quartered
  • 2 large carrots, peeled, 1 whole, 1 diced
  • 1 medium potato, diced
  • 100 g of noodles
  • so, po throat
  • pepper, to taste
  • 17 g of dry spice mix
  • fresh or dried parsley for decoration
  • 2 celery stalks, cut in half horizontally

Preparation:

To make homemade soup, fill a large pot with 950 ml of water. Add onion, chicken, 1 whole carrot and both stalks of celery. Cook over high heat until the liquid begins to boil, then reduce to low and cook covered for about 40 minutes, until the meat is tender. Remove from heat.

Using a sieve, strain the chicken broth into a heat-resistant bowl. Remove the meat from the sieve and place in a small bowl, set aside. Return the strained liquid to the pot and heat. Add carrots and diced potatoes.

Using two forks, shred the chicken pieces and discard the chicken skin and bone. Add the chicken to the pot. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add spices. When the soup boils, add the pasta. Cook on medium heat until the pasta is cooked. Taste and adjust the seasonings. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
