A family car produced in Romania from 1969 to 2004, in a series of 1,959,730 units, it is a licensed model of Renault 12. Dacia presented the 1979 Bucharest Motor Show Dacia 1310which was a renovated version of the 1300.

It was built with four-cylinder engines with two valves per cylinder, which changed only in their displacement over the decades, which gave them a few extra horsepower. The first versions had a 1.2-liter engine with 48 horsepower, but the more modern versions of the series could also have a 1.6-liter 72-horsepower engine, with which the top speed was 150 km/h.

The price of a Dacia 1310 in 1984 was HUF 134,000, the 10-40 percent advance paid over the years before delivery did not earn interest, but the purchase price could rise.
