A woman died on Monday in a fire in an apartment in Holstebro.
This is what Jens Claumach, chief of duty at the Central and West Jutland Police, told TV Midtvest.
The police suspect that the deceased is the apartment’s 62-year-old resident, it says.
The next of kin have been informed.
Jens Claumach informs TV Midtvest that the alarm came at 1:59 p.m.
The fire department sent smoke divers into the apartment, where they found the woman.
Police technicians subsequently worked on the scene to find out how the fire started. There is no indication that a criminal act is behind it, writes TV Midtvest.
An autopsy must now finally conclude whether it is the apartment’s resident.
According to TV Midtvest, the residents of the building were evacuated after the fire.
