A woman hung between two rocks for several hours after trying to retrieve her dropped iPhone –

Due to the circumstances, the rescue team had a particularly difficult task.

23-year-old Matilda Campbell got into a dangerous situation while she was in Australia’s Hunter Valley. The girl was taking photos when she dropped her iPhone, which she then tried to retrieve. However, during the action, he slipped, fell three meters, and then got stuck between two large rocks, hanging upside down.

Although paramedics arrived on the scene in about an hour, the rescue process was not nearly as fast. According to some accounts, Campbell hung between the rocks for more than 7 hours before being freed. NSW Ambulance paramedic Peter Watts said Campbell remained calm and composed despite the situation.

Watts also explained that the rescue was particularly difficult because it had never been done before. The rescue team had to remove seven boulders weighing between 80 and 500 kilograms to free Campbell, and also built a wooden frame in case any of the boulders cracked and fell.

Campbell escaped the accident with minor abrasions, bruises and a cracked vertebra, but unfortunately he was unable to recover his iPhone.
