A woman in a car crushed a pedestrian on the side of the road near St. Petersburg

A 47-year-old resident of the Leningrad region died.

A female driver caused a fatal accident in the Leningrad region.

The accident was recorded at 10:30 on Saturday, November 23, near Priozersk, on the 31st kilometer of the Sapernoye – Melnikovo – Kuznechnoye highway, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region reported. Police arriving at the scene of the accident found that a 38-year-old woman driving a Hyundai car had hit a pedestrian, a 47-year-old local resident.

According to preliminary data, the woman was walking along the road in the same direction. The police noted that the victim died at the scene of the accident from her injuries.

All circumstances of the woman’s death will be established as part of the investigation.
